The Timeguard RCD06WPVN Valiance RCD Protected 2 Gang White Passive Switched Socket is a double gang passive switched socket meaning, there are two switches on a single socket plate.It is a protective device with a 230V AC operating voltage and 13A maximum current rating, that conforms to BS7288:2016 & BS1363-2 standards and meets the latest IET Wiring Regulations.It makes use of the new dual flag technology with a RED flag indicating that the device is ON with a live supply to the appliance, and a GREEN flag indicating the device is safe with the supply to the appliance switched OFF.This ensures additional safety for the installer and end-user against risks of electrocution as the status of the RCD is clearly highlighted.It has a lower nuisance tripping compared to RCDs built to the old BS standard thanks to its high EMC immunity.
