The Hager ADA170U 20A 30mA 10kA C Curve Type A Single Pole SP RCBO is a DIN rail-mounted, compact protection device that protects electrical systems against residual and over-current faults by combining the overcurrent functions of an MCB (miniature circuit breaker), with the earth fault capabilities of an RCCB (residual current circuit breaker) in one unit.It is a type A residual current device with AC and pulsating DC sensitivity.In addition, it has a type C tripping curve which trips the electrical system when the current rises to between 5 to 10 times its full load rated current, making the RCBO ideal for installations in consumer units to protect wiring concealed in walls or partitions for residential applications to prevent danger and any inconvenience from a circuit fault.The Hager ADA170U comes complete with a 700mm insulated neutral lead, a 20-amp maximum current rating, an earth leakage current rating of 30mA for protection against electrical shocks from direct/indirect contact, and a fault current of 10kA.The Hager ADA170U is also ideal in commercial/industrial applications where higher short circuit currents are more likely, e.g., with inductive loads and fluorescent lighting.It has an IP2X protection rating which protects against ingress from fingers or similar objects greater than 12.5mm and complies with BS EN 61009 standards.Dimensions of H 115mm x W 17.8mm x D 70mm.2 years warranty included.
