The Hager NCN316A 16A 10kA Type C Triple Pole TP MCB is a miniature circuit breaker with a type C curve tripping mechanism, 3 modules and 3 poles, designed to protect electrical circuits from 10kA rated short circuits and 16A rated overload currents.It does this by interrupting the supply when an overcurrent is detected, helping to prevent installation damage.The type C curve enables it to automatically trip the power supply between 5 to 10 times the rated current, providing short term protection against short circuits.It is compatible with DIN rail mounting and used in consumer units and distribution boards in a wide range of industrial, commercial, and domestic applications.The NCN316A MCB also ensures control and control and isolation, with the isolation state highlighted by the mechanical position on the toggle.The miniature circuit breaker comes complete with simple cable entry facilities, transparent IP2X neutral bars for an easy cable installation process, and earth terminal bars which are mounted offset to neutral terminal bars, whilst angled facing the installer for further ease of cable installation.In addition, it comes with an operating dolly, lockable in either the On or OFF position, without hindering the trip mechanisms normal operation.It also has 20,000 mechanical operations, and an electrical endurance in 4,000 cycles, ideal for high inductive loads with high switching surges.The Hager NCN316A MCB complies with BS EN 60898 standards and has an IP20 ingress protection rating which means the device is both touchproof and resistant to dust ingress and solid particles bigger than 12mm in size.Dimensions of H 83mm x W 52.5mm x D 70mm, 25mm² flexible conductor connection capacity, and 35mm² rigid conductor connection capacity.2 years warranty included.
